Thank you for your detailed response and providing more context to the Auroville experiment.

To clarify, i do not refer to the "Auroville Experiment" when i talk about labeling something a failure. It was the operating model that clearly did not work. As Kireet Joshi explained we have to choose an operating model. As it will be an experiment, we have to add:

- a set of evaluation criteria

- a timeline / frequency of evaluation

- an evolving set of decision-making criteria on whether to go ahead, to modify and go ahead, or to quit and restart.

Without these additions any experiment cannot be considered an experiment.

So my recommendation for Auroville is to declare the prior operating model experiment as a failure or at the very least, not set up correctly. It needs to be restructured and restarted with the above additions.
